Hi Everyone, For those who don't know me and those who do, Hello. My daughter's family have lossed every possession in the midwest (indiana) flood. I request your thoughts, prayers, candles, blessings to their family. My daughter is due to give birth to my grandson any day now, and they have a one year old. They were evacuated by boat last Friday and my husband and I just went over and threw away their every possession... a real mess...and we have a throw up sickness from the yuck. The community is responding with material goods, so that is not a problem, we just ask for your spiritual help. Please pray for this family. Thankyou LW

Feeling really sad and missing my family.

i'm just really sad and crying a lot and missing my whole extended familly who are all witnesses.

Howdy Aphrodite First off, nice to "meet" you. Secondly, I am sorry that you are hurting and lonely for your family. The same thing happened to me so I will give you a little advice for what it is worth. Convince yourself mentally that you are in a better frame of mind than your "in" relatives. You know that don't you? Of course you do. It is not easy to be the broken link in the chain. However, you are creating link by link a stronger chain by raising your children without the burdens that you endured. I am happy to hear that you have sisters who are "out" and that must be a great help. Nurture your healthy relationships!!!! Even if it is by email, photos, letters and phone calls. You need that, your kids need that, and your sisters and Father need that. I think the general public would be put off that a "religious" organization would only help those of their own members or if it benifits them financially to do so.
I just looked at the Better Business Bureau, I havent had time to investigate yet, but maybe we should post something there. Charities are also listed for opinions from the public. I don't have the link, just google it if you want to post a public opinion on the watchtower or any of the KH's.

I do not envy your situation, PO. How terrible for you to be so torn. I can only say that this is a blessed union and that as HOST the options should be yours. This is at YOUR home afterall, and a Family affair. Tell everyone involved that you hope for everyones attendance and inclusion, and do not let your own child feel threatened or excluded in this very special occaision. Above all, protect your own.
I wish you all the best, and support you in this (what should never) be a difficult time.

Fun things to do with kids...allow them to write on the mirror!!!...heehee

my son and i decided to try writing on the mirror in our bathroom with dry erase markers and we had so much fun.
we traced our faces/cups/sink fitures and ect.

mix up some chocolate pudding and fingerpaint..............the mess is yummy
turn out the lights in tadpoles room. put up a peice of dark construction paper at just his height, aim and hold the flashlight and someone else traces his silouhette in white chalk.
the old plaster of paris in a pie pan project.... let him put his handprint in it, then let him paint his print.
plant a dry bean seed (a kidney bean, or navy bean) in a dixy cup. It will start to grow in about three days and be GINORMUS in a month!
Shucks, I should not be giving lessons to someone who already knows....Kids just want luv and time...
